What We Tried On This Week
Heathered Mocha + White V-Neck Striped Sweater
This one is giving cozy-but-put-together energy all the way. The mocha and white stripe combo is so easy to work with — it pairs naturally with denim, joggers, or a skirt if you want to dress it up a little. The V-neck keeps it from feeling too heavy or bulky, which is a big win when you're layering through that weird in-between weather Iowa (and most of the Midwest) is famous for.
Easy ways to wear it: Denim skirt + booties for errands, joggers + sneakers for school pickup, or front tucked into a dressier skirt for a quick church or appointment outfit.
Ash Jade Soft Ribbed Long Sleeve with Chest Pocket
Soft. Ribbed. Has a pocket. That's basically the whole pitch — and honestly, it doesn't need much more than that.
The ash jade color is one of those shades that photographs beautifully AND works in real life, which isn't always the case. This is a great layering piece under a vest, open flannel, or cardigan, but it holds its own on its own too.
Easy ways to wear it: Under a puffer vest for outdoor events, layered under a denim jacket, or worn solo with your favorite denim skirt and accessories for a low-effort, cute look.

These are the definition of throw-on-and-go. The half zip means you can adjust the neckline based on your mood (or the temperature, because fall in the Midwest is basically three seasons in one day). The seam details give it a little something extra without being over the top.

It gives you a little more coverage in the back without adding bulk, and the forest green is perfect for fall and honestly carries right into the holiday season too. Wear it now, wear it at Thanksgiving, wear it into December — one less thing to worry about.
